How to generate a license key for Qorestor?

Once Qorestor is installed, what do I do to add a permanent license key?

Once Qorestor is installed it is operational without a license key.  You will however be limited by capacity.

You will need to submit your System ID if you want a permanent license key.

The System ID can be found on the System Configuration Tab (on version 5.x) or in Dashboard (on version 6.x and onward).

It can also be shown via this CLI command:

[root@QoreStor-demo]# system --show | grep "System ID"

System ID                       : ABCDEF1234567890ABCDEF1234567890

After you have your System ID, please register the license to obtain the license file or transfer it if the System ID has changed. The license file will arrive via e-mail.

To apply the file using the GUI, please follow these steps:

1. From the left navigation pane, select System, then License.
2. Click the [Upload License] button.
3. Select the License File and press the [Open] button to apply it.

Alternatively, the system –license command is used to add the license.

        system --license [--show] [--verbose]

                 [--validate] [--file ]

                 [--add] [--file ]
