Description
VMware backups stopped working after upgrading to vSphere 6.7While running VMware Plugin versions prior to 12.0, the following errors are seen:-Backup Fails with "Failed to determine information for Virtual machine from server."-Upon trying to edit a VM Backup Selection "Failed to get inventory information for the server. reason Unknown" -
Cause
vSphere 6.7 is supported as of VMware Plugin 12.0.
vSphere 6.7 is not supported on VMware Plugin versions prior to 12.0.

Resolution
Upgrade the VMware Plugin to 12.0 or higher.
