During upgrade from NetVault 11.2 to 11.4.5 on Windows 2012 the following pop up error is returned :
Upgrade failure "No origin file found that matched C:/Program Files (x86)/Quest Software/NetVault Backup/etc/(null)"
Possible causes would be:
- Anti-Virus has stopped the installation
- The user installing did not have sufficient rights (not admin)
- The installation file was run from a share or non-local drive
- Ensure the installer is run locally from C:\ on the server and not from a share.
- Ensure to the installer using 'Run as Administrator'.
- Ensure any antivirus/real time protection is stopped.
