Dirsync runs and when it creates new objects and mail enables them those objects have e-mail addresses assigned which cannot be found in any Recipient Policy.
When creating new objects manually this doesn't happen. What can be done?
To troubleshoot the issue one can use LDIFDE or LDP and dump the entire Configuration Container and then perform a search within the output.
If LDIFDE will not produce enough information (eg. the purportedSearch attribute) then one can use CSV, in order to get all the attributes in clear text for review.
In some rare scenarios old non-decommissioned Exchange servers can cause this.
