During the migration process with QMM, you can select random password generation as a method of target user passwords creation (for that, you need to select "Set random password" when specifying password handling options). Where is this information stored and how can this information (passwords) be viewed.
** This option was designed to set random passwords and after migration, before enabling target accounts, admins are supposed to reset the passwords in target domain manually.**
N/A
As stated above, the random password function is designed so that administrators can later manually enable and set user passwords on the target. They are stored in an encrypted format as a security measure. If at all possible, reset the target passwords manually, or synchronize them with the source using a migration session.
The List QMM Password From ADAM command-line utility allows you to view these passwords in the text format. It displays the passwords which were assigned to the target users during all migration sessions of all domain pairs in the specified migration project. Data can be displayed, for example, as follows:
Source domain: DOM1
Target domain: DOM2
Session name: 1
Session name: 2
User:ACU3.Password:=+5#IJR&CG
User:ACU2.Password:9*q%|R-,N6
User:ACU3.Password:Xg{y3K
