Receiving an Invalid Key error message when trying to register a Commercial Key, it states that it's an Invalid Key.

What is the difference between an "Authorization" key and a "License" key?
The wrong string is being entered as the key or site message. Both information needs to be correct.
The "Authorization key" is the same as the "License key". Toad keys can come in 2 formats.
Old format: all numeric 21-digit string
i.e. 1-12345-67890-23456-78901
New format: alpha numeric 30+ character string
i.e. QWERT123ASDF45JKL456BNM888XCVBN-123-234-45FA
These keys will have a "Site Message" associated with it. The Site Message is case and space sensitive.
Both a key and site message needs to be registered into Toad.
The license key and site message can be obtain from:
1. Purchased License Email
*Please see the attached screenshot of where to locate your license key and site message from your purchased license email.
2. From your previous installs of Toad - go to HELP | Licensing. (This can only be done for version 10.6 and older.)
3. Go to License Key Retrieval and enter your e-mail address and license number.
NOTE: Commercial Keys will not work in Trial version installs of Toad.
