Manually Prepare and add devices in Apple Business Manager (ABM) or Apple School Manager (ASM) -
Resolution
Prerequisites:* A Mac device (desktop or laptop)* AppleConfigurator 2 installed on the device
Configuring the device:
1. Open AppleConfigurator 2
2. Connect the target device to be configured by USB cable
3. Click on Prepare
4. Select "Manual Configuration"
5. Select "New Server"
6. Enter a friendly name for your tenant and the enrollment URL
7. Select "New Organization"
8. Sign in to your Apple School Manager or Apple Business Manager account
9. Select your Network Profile
10. The device will be erased and configured
