Sometimes Anti-Virus software may scan KACE Cloud agent executables or files in directories and tag them as threats.
This article explains which directories, executables/files need to be Allow Listed in order for the KACE Cloud agent to work properly.

Resolution
The following files and locations are used by the KACE Cloud agent and should be Allow Listed in any antivirus or monitoring solution.
Directories used by the KACE Cloud Agent:
PATH DESCRIPTION C:\Program Files\Quest\KACECloud This is where KACE Cloud executables reside C:\ProgramData\Quest\KACECloud Configuration and log file’s location C:\ProgramData\Quest\KACECloud\ext KACE Cloud extension utility directory C:\ProgramData\Quest\KACECloud\ext\cloudpatch KACE Cloud patching extension utility directory C:\ProgramData\Quest\KACECloud\cloudpatch\kpd KACE Cloud patching download directory
Executable files in the following directories:- All files within C:\Program Files\Quest\KACECloud
- All files within C:\ProgramData\Quest\KACECloud
- C:\Windows\System32\cscript.exe - Deployment scripts are written in VBScript and used during the deployment of patches
