How to Edit Settings for Microsoft Outlook app for Android and iOS -
Description
To be able to apply settings to customize Outlook accounts through the use of variables to automate the deployment of user accounts in the Android and iOS phone application.

Resolution
From the KACE Cloud appliance interface, click on Libraries, click on the icon "apps" search and click on Microsoft Outlook app, and click on the edit button, select then "create new settings".
You will be able to use or not variables according to your needs:
To configure Outlook for use with Office 365, use the following settings:
- Account Type: ModernAuth
- Email Address: %user.emailaddress% (or use a custom LDAP attribute, e.g. %UserCustomEmailAddress%)
- Server Name: outlook.office365.com
- UPN: %user.emailaddress% (or use a custom LDAP attribute, e.g. %UserCustomEmailAddress%)
- Note: leave the “User Name” and “Server Authentication Method” fields set to their default values
To configure Outlook for use with an on-premises Exchange server, use the following settings:
- Email Address: %user.emailaddress% (or use a custom LDAP attribute, e.g. %UserCustomEmailAddress%)
- Exchange Server URL: the FQDN of the exchange server, e.g. mail.mycompany.com
- User Name: %user.emailaddress% (or use a custom LDAP attribute, e.g. %UserCustomUserName%)
- Account Type: BasicAuth
- Server Authentication Method: (leave blank)
Settings Name: Descriptive name for settings. For example, Marketing, Sales, etc.
Account settingsAccount Type: This value specifies the account type being configured based on the authentication model.- Exchange on-premise (Basic Authentication)
- Office 365 or Hybrid (Modern Authentication)
Account Display Name: This value specifies the display name email account as it will appear to users on their devices.
Email Address: This value specifies the email address used for sending and receiving mail.
User Logon Name: This value specifies the User Principal Name for the email profile that will be used to authenticate the account.
Server Name (only for Exchange): This value specifies the hostname of your Exchange server.
Account Domain (only for Exchange, optional): This value specifies the user's account domain.
Authentication method (only for Exchange): This value specifies the authentication method for the user.Account RestrictionsAllowed accounts only: This value specifies whether the organization-allowed account mode is active.

UPN: This value specifies the User Principal Name account allowed to open data from managed apps.
