When there is an Automation .TAS file with a cross connection query to two different Oracle databases in separate environments, when the TAS file is opened and run manually, the entire Automation task is successful. However, when it is run as a scheduled task, it fails every time, with the error:
'MySql.Data.MySqlClient.MySqlException - FUNCTION (UDF) FLANOVA does not exist'
This error may happen in the 32-bit version of Toad Data Point (and possibly when a 32-bit / x86 Oracle client is in use on the machine).
WORKAROUND:
Please use the 64-bit version of Toad Data Point, and a 64-bit / x64 Oracle client on the machine to prevent the error.
The 64-bit version of Toad Data Point can be downloaded from here
STATUS:
Waiting for fix in a future release of Toad Data Point
