Problems editing templates in the export wizard activity

The Export wizard uses a template which is populated with a Query file.
At some point we want to change the file that populates this template and we do this by following the steps below:
1. Click on the Export activity and , in the activity input tab, clicks “edit selected template”
2. Click Next
3. Click Edit
4. Select another sql file in the select objects section of the wizard

The problem is that sometimes Toad ignores this change.
This happens even though we save the tas after applying the change.
