Spotlight on SQL Server 10.0.3 - Getting Started Guide

User - Response Time Alarm

The User - Response Time alarm becomes active when the execution time of the Response Time SQL exceeds a threshold. The Response Time SQL is a user defined T-SQL batch that can be used to indicate application response time.

You can change the query used to determine response time. See "SQL Server Response Time Dialog" (page 1) for more information. Only members of the Spotlight Diagnostic Administrators group can change the SQL Statement used to measure SQL Server response time.
