Replication - Estimated Time To Apply Alarm

Note: This feature requires Spotlight on SQL Server Enterprise. Spotlight on SQL Server Replication is available for SQL Server 2005 and later.

The Replication - Estimated Time To Apply alarm becomes active when the amount of time required to deliver commands to the subscriber exceeds a thresholds.

When this alarm occurs, look at the history of the affected agent.

1. Go to the Agents grid on the Agents page in the Activity drilldown.
2. Select the affected agent.
3. Click the Sessions tab and then select a session in the grid. The informational and error messages logged for that session are shown in the Top 200 Actions grid.

Tips:

• You can configure this alarm to ignore certain values. See "Configure an Alarm to Ignore Certain Values" (page 1) for more information.

• You can configure different alarm severities for specific subscriptions. See "Configure Keyed Alarms" (page 1) for more information.
