Spotlight on SQL Server 10.0.3 - Getting Started Guide

Log Shipping - Secondary Job Alarm

The Log Shipping - Secondary Job alarm is raised when a secondary copy or restore job is not enabled.

This alarm alerts you to jobs that are inadvertently or otherwise disabled.

Tips:

  • You can configure different alarm severities for specific secondary databases. See "Configure Keyed Alarms" (page 1) for more information. The key for this alarm is the ID for the secondary database. You can see this information in the Transaction Log Shipping Secondaries grid on the Secondaries page of the High Availability drilldown.

The Primary ID column may be hidden by default. See Show, Hide & Order Columns (page 1) for more information on how to display hidden columns.
