The main cause of this error is when your environment does not have a GUI environment set up. By default, the installer requires a GUI environment to run.
If you are unable to set up a GUI interface, JProbe can be installed via command line by issue the command
suiteinstall.bin -i console
This will mean that all JProbe functionality will need to be performed by command line. Please see our documentation for further details on running JProbe from the command line.
