DR Appliance show a RED LED in manage devices. Forcing the device online will go green for short while, but then it turns red again and unusable.
Network timeout on NetVault server or some services on the appliance could have crashed
a) Increase TcpMaxDataRetransmissions value to 25. below is microsoft KB How to change TcpMaxDataRetransmissions
b) Install Microsoft patch https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2764305
Troubleshoot the appliance. Down services can be restarted with a reboot of the system, but containers might not be accesible for some time after the restart. If the device is still showing offline in NetVault, remove and re-add the DR Appliance.
