If a macOS device has been installed and is already running the macOS Setup Assistant before the device has been added to the correct KACE Cloud server in Apple Business Manager and assigned to the desired Device Enrollment Program (DEP) profile in KACE Cloud, then the device will not pick up the MDM DEP settings from Apple.
