Error when installing Reporting Web Portal: "Could not create an application at the specified loc -
説明
When installing the Reporting Web Portal component of Intrust you receive the following error: "Could not create an application at the specified location. You must create it manually after you finished the setup. See documentation for details." -
原因
This occurs because the Reporting Web Portal attempts to create COM+ entries but the system has the COM+ System Application service disabled. -
対策
WORKAROUND:
1. Click Start | Programs (All Programs) | Administrative Tools | Services
2. Find the COM+ System Application right-click on it and choose Properties
3. Change the Startup Type from Disabled to Manual and click OK
4. Reinstall the Reporting Web Portal Component -
