Please note the following:
- For the notification manager to run, notifications have to be set for an account in a domain that the GPOADmin server can see. This can be a user account, or a DL
- This user will get added to the GPOADmin users list. This is expected. They will not have any rights to do anything in GPOADmin unless they are also given roles within GPOADmin
- You can manually enter the email for this account to point to any vaild email address. This could be a specific user, or a DL in an untrusted domain.
When adding accounts from non-trusted domains for notifications the accounts are added as GPOADmin users (with no rights until roles are also assigned) because GPOAdmin uses the same account management system for notification emails and role assignments. There is currently no way to set notifications without creating the corresponding user entry in GPOADmin, however as mentioned above, these notification users will not have any inherited rights in GPOAdmin.
