NOTE: Support recommends restarting the Foglight Agent Managers (FglAM) prior to cartridge upgrades via the Windows services or Linux/Windows command line, or using the restart functionality in the Agent Managers panel. This can help confirm that there are no issues with specific agents that might later cause difficulties for the Agent Manager shutting down efficiently in the background as cartridges are upgraded.
If the agent manager does not shut down and restart in a timely manner, contact Support to assist with a review o the FglAM log file for any potential shut down issues caused by stuck process threads.

Once you have upgraded the database cartridges, to deploy the agent packages, navigate to the main Databases (Global View) dashboard and follow the upgrade wizard instructions for any database cartridges that are listed (e.g. SQL Server, DB2, Oracle. Azure SQL). For a procedure describing how to use the wizards, see the Foglight for SQL Server User Guide (or the relevant guides for other database cartridges).
After completing the upgrades through the database cartridge wizards, then proceed to the Administration | Agent Managers dashboard to upgrade any remaining cartridges (i.e. HostAgent, Sybase, MySQL, etc.).
