How to download and install a Foglight Agent Manager (FglAM) -
対策
To begin monitoring your environment, you'll first need to download the Foglight Agent Manager. Think of it as being a connector that allows the user to collect performance data from endpoints in your environment and transmit that to the Foglight Cloud.
Click on the Go To Agent Managers button.
Once on the Agent Manager's dashboard, locate the link at the top of the page called Download Agent Manager Software.
Depending on what type of host to install into, pick either the Linux or the Windows executable.
In this example it will use Windows
Downloading the Foglight Agent Manager, or the collector, locally onto the host where you want to install this collector.
Run this as Administrator and begin the process of installation.
Accept the terms of the license agreement.
Choose a folder to install the collector, or the Agent Manager, into.
Give it a name for the host.
Foglight's Agent Manager, or the collector, has been preconfigured with the actual host for the Foglight Cloud service.
Click the Test button.
A green check mark appears,
Click Next a couple more times to ensure that the Foglight Agent Manager, or the collector, runs as a Windows service to start every time or at the end of this installation.
Foglight Agent Manager has been configured.
After a few moments, the host or Agent Manager will appear in the list when the newly-created Agent Manager is visible to the Foglight Cloud service.
Click the Back button in the browser and return to the Welcome screen.
