Agent Health State rule fires multiple alarms on Foglight Server restart -

When restarting the Foglight Management Server or Foglight Agent Manager multiple alarm emails are sent. Is it possible to prevent the multiple alarms?

原因
Behavior is by design; agents are considered "Broken" as they are still active on the Foglight Management Server, but the Foglight Agent Manager (FglAM) has been stopped and agents are no longer running (e.g. FglAM shutdown or restarted due to maintenance operations). -
対策
WORKAROUND 1
From the Manage Rules dashboard edit the Agent Health State rule and alter the rule behavior to wait for a longer time before alarms fire; for example:- Increase the Recurrence Interval in the Rule Definition tab.
- Increase the the value for If X consecutive evaluations are true under the Behavior tab.
- Increase the value for Wait at least [hh:mm:ss] after first evaluation under the Behavior tab.

Configure a global blackout, for more information refer to How to blackout all of Foglight (4213624).

Configure a rule blackout for Agent Health State.

Manually deactivate agents before restarting the FglAM.
WORKAROUND 5
Enable a topology object blackout for the Agent topology using the command line:- To enable:
[FMS_HOME]/bin/fglcmd -cmd topology:blackoutobject -query '!Agent' -schedulename SCHEDULE_NAME -inheritable - To disable:
[FMS_HOME]/bin/fglcmd -cmd topology:blackoutobject -query '!Agent' -clear
The SCHEDULE_NAME can be obtained from the schedules dashboard or using[FMS_HOME]/bin/fglcmd -cmd schedule:listfrom the command line.
STATUS
Enhancement request FOG-6034 has been submitted to development for consideration in a future release of the Foglight Management Server. -
