Discoveries are stuck in the "Pending" or "Processing" status

Some discoveries are stuck in the "Pending" or "Processing" status and they cannot be modified or deleted.
対策
There could be a lot of reasons why sometimes a discovery gets stuck in the "Pending" or "Processing" status. One thing you could try is cleaning up the discovery queue:

However, if none of the above articles helped, the following steps should force any discovery to "unstuck" it so you can later modify/delete it as desired:
1. Make sure you have a full valid SQL database backup of the Enterprise Reporter database.
2. Ensure that no discoveries are currently running.
3. Stop the Quest Enterprise Reporter server service.
4. Open SQL Server Management Studio and log in with the appropriate database administrator credentials, then connect to the instance where the ER database resides.
5. Lookup up the ER database in the "Databases" folder (by default is "dbReporter") then right-click on it and click on "New Query".
6. Copy and Paste the following Query:
update [tblTask] set Status = 'Finished', AssignedNodeID = null, EndDate = StartDate, SeqNo = null where [Status] not like '%%Finished%%'
update [tblJobRun] set Status = 'Finished', EndDate = StartDate, SeqNo = null where Status not like '%%Finished%%'
7. If the Query was executed successfully, start the Quest Enterprise Reporter Server service.
8. Check to see if the discoveries are no longer stuck in "Pending" status.
