Complete the following steps to add an exclusion filter to a File System Template:
- Select “Auditing” in the lower left of the “Administration Task” tab of the Change Auditor Client.
- Select “File System” in the mid-section of the pane on the left.
- Select the desired File System Template from the list in the right pane.
- Click “Edit” in the button bar menu at the top of the form
- Select the path to where the filter is to be applied and click the “Exclusion” tab towards the bottom of the form.
- Enter the folder/file exclusion string in the field provided, click “Add” to move the entry into the list below (click the “Click here for example” for the correct format of exclusion strings).
- Click “Finish” to close the form.
It may be necessary to refresh the agent’s configuration so the changes will be effective immediately.
