In some source environments, items have been observed to be archived in a folder-less location, such as Top of Information Store. These items are positioned ‘above’ the Inbox in the folder hierarchy. When extracted, they are effectively folder-less because they cannot be ingested into a target archive.
This article explains how to configure folder-less item handling in Archive Shuttle.
On the System Configuration screen, under the General System Settings tab in the Folder section, there is a setting that allows you to specify a folder for the folder-less items described earlier in this article:
Note:
The folder name does not need to exist in the target. Archive Shuttle will create it if required. There are no additional requirements other than setting this value and saving the configuration changes. Each import module will use that setting the next time the import starts.
