When restoring computer objects, you may see the following warning:
"Restoring this object may require that you reset computer account passwords in the restored object"
A computer object has a password to gain access to AD. The password is stored in AD and on the computer itself. AD changes the password on computer objects every 30 days.
When you restore it using the agent method it restores a stored password, but by the time the password is restored it might have been changed. In this case you have an old password in the AD object and a new password on the physical computer, so the computer has no access to the domain. In this case you have to manually reset the password.
