Resolving PowerShell Error "[0 0 0 00000000] Connecting to remote server failed: User name or password is incorrect" -
Description
In a Quest MNE environment, migration data to Exchange on-premises works fine when working with Domino. However, tasks with RPS fail with the error message:
"DEBUG: [0-0-0-00000000] Attempt 1 failed. Reason: Connecting to remote server failed with the following error message : The user name or password is incorrect."
This occurs even though RPS works with the used account and credentials outside of MNE.
The customer has a Root/Child-Domain-Forest scenario with:
- AD account within Root-Domain (FC within AD and Org-Management within Exchange)
- Exchange Account within Child-Domain (Receive As on databases and Recipient Management role)
