Description
Specific machine is producing an error 0x41f "The service database is locked" when doing a RUM Discovery task -
Cause
This error is usually caused by service start timing out and locking access to service control manager -
Résolution
To workaround the issue, please do the following:
- open RUM console menu, Tools
- click on Create Agent SetupThis step will create an installable MSI file that can be transferred to problematic machine and installed locally. Please verify that Quest RUM Agent service was created successfully and started.
