Find LiteSpeed license number using comand line (CLI) (4313336)

How to find license number in case the user does not have local administrator rights for LiteSpeed Graphic User Interface (GUI).

To query the required information, use the LiteSpeed LicenseInfoCmd Utility.

Syntax:

Command line Parameters for LiteSpeed for SQL Server

  -?               Displays help
  -r               Removes currently stored license key
  -s               Stores licenses information when specified with -l and -m parameters
  -l (license)     License Key to view or store
  -m (sitemsg)     Site Message for the license key
  -n               Show License Number

1. Open a command prompt.
2. Browse to your LiteSpeed installation folder. By default it is: "C:\Program Files\Quest Software\LiteSpeed\SQL Server\".
3. Run command "LicenseInfoCmd.exe -n".
