After the removal of a number of credentials from the Foglight Management Server console, the following message is populating in the Foglight Agent Manager (FglAM) log files:
YYYY-MM-DD HH:MM:SS.SSS VERBOSE [IncomingMessage[3]-7] com.quest.glue.common.util.MBeanUtils - FglAM:type=Credentials,instance=com.quest.forge.credentials.type.windows,name=x-x-x has been unregistered from the mbean server.
This message is noting that a credential stored in the FglAM credential cache has been marked as obsolete (due to either a new connection established to the FMS, or notification by the FMS that a lockbox or credential attribute(s) have changed) and is being removed from the local cache.
FglAM stores credentials with a reference to the credential query that returned them. When FglAM is notified of changes to the Servers Credential repository, it marks all associated credentials as obsolete. FglAM will use this marker to determine whether is needs to re-resolve the credential query the next time an agent is requesting a remote connection. Once the query is resolved by the FMS with the updated credentials, FglAM will then delete the older/obsolete credential and store the new one.
As credential queries are driven by agent collection frequencies, it is possible to see these messages continue to appear in the FglAM log file as the collection cycles work their way through sometime after the FMS notification of the Credential change.
