Retrieving logs using Macintosh computer:
- Sync your iPhone or iPad with iTunes using these instructions from Apple. The crash log files will be synced to your computer.
- Open a Finder window and select Go to Folder... from the Go menu (or press Shift-Command-G). A dialog box should appear.
- Copy and paste the following into the box and press the Return key: ~/Library/Logs/CrashReporter/MobileDevice
- Open the folder name of the device you’ve synced.
- Select the most recent or relevant crash logs. The name of each log file will include the app, the date and time the file was created, and the device, such as:

- Attach the log files in your SR.
Retrieving logs using Windows computer:
- Sync your iPhone or iPad through iTunes using these instructions from Apple. The crash log files will be synced to your computer.
- Open Windows Explorer.
- Copy and paste the following into the address bar and press the Enter key:
%APPDATA%\Apple Computer\Logs\CrashReporter\MobileDevice\
- Open the folder name of the device you’ve synced.
- Select the most recent or relevant crash logs. The name of each log file will include the app, the date and time the file was created, and the device, such as:

- Attach the log files in your reply to support.
Get crash logs directly from your iPhone or iPad:
- On your iPhone or iPad, go to:
- iOS Settings |Privacy | Analytics | Analytics Data
- You will see an alphabetical list all crash logs on your device.
- Scroll down to Actions, and tap on the most recent Actions log.
- Either tap the share button in the top right corner or copy and paste the whole contents of the log into your reply to support.
