Installation hangs during "Setting user rights" portion of the Warehouse Server installation. The following error is shown:
"Cannot grant the following privilege(s):"
"Replace a process level token"
"Increase quotas"
"Logon as a service"
"Logon as a batch job"
"to <accountName>"
"Your Group Policy settings may be preventing Setup from granting the privileges specified. Modify the Group Policy and run Setup again"
The installer is hard coded to explicitly grant the service account the needed local rights assignment. The installer does not check if the account is a member of group that has been granted the necessary rights.
As a workaround, temporarily block the GPO that is preventing the installer from explicitly assigning the rights. Once the installer completes, the GPO can be applied again and the explicit rights removed, provided the account is granted the rights through group inheritance.
