What do alarms and email notifications regarding the "Catalyst" mean?

The "Catalyst" alarms are related to the Foglight Management Server repository database or the server itself; for example:
Rule name Explanation Catalyst Available Database Connections Check No database connections available for use by the server. Catalyst Database Latency Check High latency between Foglight database and Foglight server. The rule creates warning alarm when database performance/latency is over 10ms. Catalyst Database Maintenance Check Checks that the nightly database maintenance activities are completing within the configured maintenance window. Catalyst Database Query Execution Time Check Throws a WARNING alert when a sample query against the Foglight database is taking longer than usual, indicating potentially poor database performance. Catalyst Database Space Checking Rule to check whether the Foglight database will be running out of space. Catalyst Free Database Space Checking Rule to check whether the Oracle tablespaces or SQL Server database still have/has enough free space. Catalyst Memory Usage Check Rule to check whether the memory available to the management server is critically low. Catalyst Data Service Discarding Data Rule to check whether any data is being discarded by the Data Service. Catalyst Number of Alarms Check Checks whether the total number of alarms stored in the database exceeds a predefined threshold.
