How to completely remove a Change Auditor Agent from a server without the installer? (4306208)

Administrators may want or need to remove the Quest Change Auditor Agent from a server but the Client Deployment tab displays the Agent is Uninstalled and  the agent cannot be removed using the Programs and Features applet in the Control Panel. The Change Auditor Agent Service shows to be in a Stopping state and cannot be managed.

1. Open Service.msc
2. Stop ChangeAuditor Agent service, or you may be forced to use the Task Manager to stop the NPSrvHost.exe process.
3. Open Command Prompt as administrator and run: sc DELETE NPSrvHost
4. Refresh the service and verify that the services have been removed
5. Remove the following registry key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\Installer\Products\<GUID>. Where <GUID> is the key that has the ProductName subkey listed as: Quest ChangeAuditor Agent (x64). Click on each key to find the one with this product name.
6. Remove the following registry key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall. Where <GUID> is the key that has the Display name Value as: Quest ChangeAuditor Agent (x64). Click on each key to find the one with this product name
7. Delete the folder C:\Program Files\Quest\Change Auditor.
