Event ID 1004 - An Event Definition was not found for Event Definition code Event Definition Code (4252372)

Event 1004 appears in the Event Viewer for the Active Administrator Notification Service

An Event Definition was not found for Event Definition code ‘Event Definition Code’.

This problem is caused when the tblEventDefinition table in the Active Administrator database has been corrupted. To fix this issue follow the steps provided below.

1. Open the Active Administrator Console.
2. Go to Auditing & Alerting | Event Definitions module.
3. Click the Import button that is located at the top of the screen.
4. Select the EventDefinitions.edx file that should be located in the following path: C:\Program Files\Quest\Active Administrator\Server
5. In the Import Event Definitions window, click the Import button.
6. The Import Event Definitions dialog appears.
7. Click the Import button.
8. Once the import has completed, click the Close button.
