UnixAgent is not collecting data when RSA credential is used (4261638)

After adding an RSA credential for the host monitored by the UnixAgent but the agent is not collecting data. The following error is reported in the agent log:

2012-07-13 14:04:58.727 ECHO <HostAgents/5.6.4/UnixAgent/my-agent> VERBOSE [Quartz-14] com.quest.remoteos.UnixAgentImpl - An SSH connection to <IP address> port 22 was not established
com.quest.glue.api.services.InvalidCredentialsException: A connection with <IP address> could not be established using any of the 4 credentials assigned to this host

Check the following items:

1. Test with something other than Foglight. If possible use PuTTY, or ssh for another Unix host to test out the RSA private/public key combination to confirm that the keys work and have been installed properly.
2. Check for an incorrect username in the RSA key. You should be able to see the username in the RSA key.
3. Check the permissions on the .ssh directory and the authorized_keys file.
   The permissions on the .ssh directory should be 700, and permissions on authorized_keys file (./ssh/authorized_keys) should be 600.
4. Check the sshd logs. If the RSA key is being rejected the sshd logs should contain information that will help determine why it is being rejected.
