Bind and Unbind Columns to Defaults

You can bind an existing default to a column or user-defined data type from this window. If a default is currently bound to a column or user-defined data type, selecting a new default automatically replaces the original default with the new one.

To bind or unbind a column to a default

  1. Select Tables from the Databases node in the Object Explorer.
  2. Right-click a table and select View Details.

  3. Select the Columns tab in the Viewer pane.   

  4. Select a column and do one of the following:
    • Click to bind a column to default.

    • Click to unbind a column from default.
  5. Select a default from the list.

  1. Right-click a table and select View Details.

  2. Select Statistics tab.
