Description
Scenario #1

Launch Core Console, click next to the "Protect" button, and select the "Deploy Agent Software" option.

Select the Source and enter the credentials required.

Select the Machines you are going to deploy the agent.
-
Follow through the wizard until finalizing the process.
- Monitor the job as it will fail with the following error:

Go to C:\Program Files\AppRecovery\Core\Installers

Run Agent-Web

Follow the wizard steps the following error will be displayed:
Scenario #3 (VMs)-
Launch Core Console, click the tab next to the "Protect" button, and select the "Protect Multiple Machines" option.

The wizard, will open and click "Next".

Select source Hyper-V/VMware, enter the credentials for the host, and click "Next" -> select the VMs and click the "Next" button.
Note: For Hyper-V, please make sure to Install the Agent on the host on which the virtual disks for VMs are located' and to 'Upgrade the Agent on the hosts on which virtual disks for VMs are located'. -
Follow through the wizard until finalizing the process.
- Monitor the job as it will fail with the following error:

Cause
This has been identified as a defect, RR-111431.

Resolution
This has been resolved and no additional steps are needed, however, if you still encounter this error with your current installer please proceed to download the latest installer from the Quest support site.
WORKAROUND:
You can perform installation/upgrade using the Full installer instead of the Web installer.
Download and install the full Agent/Local Mount Utility/Core installer from the Rapid Recovery License Portal or Quest Support site and use this to install/upgrade.
