Toad for Data Analysts 3.1. 'Data Report Designer'. Unable to re-order or change the order of the columns in the main report designer page.
Steps:
1. Using TDA v3.1
a) Query Builder - build a sql query
b) Execute SQL
c) right click on result set
d) Send To | Data Report Designer
e) Standard Report
f) all columns ( included in report )
g) no 'groupings'
h) select Tabular Report
i) give report a name
j) click Finish
2. It will open the ‘Report’ Window, and it will be in ‘Designer’ tab
3. From here, we were not able to change the order of the columns. We could not relocate the table columns either. They seem to be in a fixed located.
WORKAROUND:
Perform the ordering of the column in the Wizard page where the columns are added OR drag a column from the ‘Field List’ list on the right side into the 'Designer' tab area.
STATUS:
Enhancement request ST99971 has been submitted to Development for consideration in a future release of Toad for Oracle.
