Spotlight 11.5 can send notifications to an accountability holder with a Spotlight Mobile app in response to a raised alarm.
Before using this feature, Spotlight Essentials Mobile Monitoring needs to configured with an Essentials account. These accounts are in form of an email address. Click here for more details.
Create a new Alarm Action rule by selecting Configure | Alarm Actions icon from top ribbon bar of Spotlight. Use Alarm Actions ''Send a push notification to a mobile device" action to create this action.
This action will automatically use the email address confirmed in Spotlight Essentials Mobile monitoring. When multiple Spotlight Essentials account names are involved, separate each account name with a comma. In the case of a Spotlight Essentials organization, to send a push notification to all members of the organization, list all members of the organization in the To field.
Add required conditions such as connection and alarm type to complete the Alarm Action rule.
Once Alarm Action rule is triggered, your phone will receive a push notification reporting the alarm:
