In busy environments compare & repair fail as it can not lock the full table. Shareplex v5.3+ now has a new features for compare & repair which uses timed wait locks, waiting longer period for the lock rather than failing.
原因
Compare & Repair used to lock a table to get a consistent view with "nowait" option. It will retry 60 times with one second interval if it failed.
解决办法
WORKAROUND:
The new version has compare and repair get in line and wait for it's turn. So, compare and repair will have a better chance to lock the table momentary and get a consistent view.
