If between initial and secondary migration a user update a mail item on the source, the subsequent migrations will update the mail item from Source to Target. -

Please realize that this tool is a migration tool and has not been designed as a synchronization tool. The best practices would be to migrate the users data, set forwarding and migrate the users data. This would ensure that all mail gets to the destination with the least amount of effort and inconvenience.
