NetVault Backup Plugin for VMware version 2.5 uses VMware the VDDK 5.0 API set. Per VMware, VDDK 5.0 cannot support GPT volumes in the VixMntapi library, a core library used by the NetVault plugin.

Do not use the NetVault Backup Plugin for VMware to backup Virtual Machines with GPT partitions.
