I am setting up log shipping and will be using the log shipping files to go to Tape Backup and need to be able to have these files encrypted.
The logshipping Wizard does not allow me to choose any of the Encryption Settings in the 'Advanced Options' tab.
In Litespeed version 5.0 and above, you can not edit encryption for an existing logshipping plan.
It was disabled because if you change the password it can cause log
shipping plan failures: a restore job will fail for transaction log
backups that were made with an old password and were not restored yet.
In this case you have to reinitialize the log shipping plan to edit encryption.
