How to perform a File Operation action (Copy, Delete, Move) and selecting multiple files to apply the File Operations Element to.
Generally the element can only be applied to specifically listed files in a folder, to all files by using an asterisk (*), or to a variation of files by using variables (such as * or ?).
Limitations: The File Operations Elements can be applied to affect multiple files as long as variables can be used. Completely different file names and locations will require multiple File Operations elements if a variable will not suffice to encompass all files needed for inclusion.
Multiple files within a folder may need to be copied, moved, or deleted.
Only wildcards for file names can be used to select multiple files.
A question mark "?" can be used for a specific character in the file name or an asterisk "*" for more inclusive variables.
For example: To include Windir.txt and wincap.txt files, you can use "win???.txt" or "win*.txt" and it would perform the file operation on all .txt files that start with "Win" at the beginning of their file name.
If filenames are disctinctly different, the only available option is to create multiple "File Operations" elements.
Additional suggestion if multiple elements are needed:
COPY the completed elements, PASTE into the profile, and then modify the variables.
