User console does not show custom logo

A custom user console logo can be used by saving the desired image in the general settings of the administrator console. The logo should display on both the user console login page and on the upper left-hand corner of the webUI. It is sometimes possible that after a custom logo is set in the administrator console, it does not display in the user console.

The most common reasons for this situation are:

• Photo does not meet logo specifications
• Organization name is missing in the database

If the logo does not display on the login page nor in the upper left-hand corner after logging into the webUI:

1. Go to Settings | General Settings
2. Scroll to the bottom of the page and right-click on the User Console logo
3. Choose Save image As (save the image locally with any name)
4. Right-click on the newly saved image
5. Choose Properties
6. Click on the Details tab
7. Compare the specifications of the photo to the guidelines from the administrator guide and adjust accordingly:
   1. 224 pixels wide by 50 pixels high is the default size
   2. 104 pixels wide by 50 pixels high stays inside the blue highlight around the logout link
   3. 300 pixels wide by 75 pixels high is the maximum size that does not impact the layout

 

If the logo is not displayed on the login page, but is displayed after logging into the webUI:

1. Run the configuration report
2. Open the report created in the above step (SupportData.html) and review the Organizations section to see if Org Name is missing

3. If the Org Name is blank, please contact support and include the following to expedite the request:
   1. SupportData.html from step 1
   2. Serial number of the SMA
