The MNE Pre-Requisite Checker authentication fails when connecting to Active Directory.
说明
Migrator Notes for Exchange environment details:
MNE: 4.12.1.52 and with 4.12.1.45 Windows 7 SP1 64 Bit (physical and virtual). Migrating from: Domino 8.5.3 FP6 Windows 2008 R2 Lotus Notes: 8.5.3 FP6 Migrating to: Office 365 and the MNE Pre-Requisite Checker is configured for tenant with dirsync (hence why it tries to check with Active Directory). SQL: 2008 R2 Windows 2012
The Pre-Requisite Checker captures the following Active Directory error messages:
[10] ERROR ActiveDirectoryProbe - System.Exception: Authentication with Active Directory server '' failed for user 'domain\vere_admin'. ---> System.Runtime.InteropServices.COMException (0x80005000): Unknown error (0x80005000)
[11] ERROR ActiveDirectoryProbe - System.Exception: Authentication with Active Directory server '' failed for user 'domain\vere_admin'. ---> System.Runtime.InteropServices.COMException (0x80005000): Unknown error (0x80005000)
[6] ERROR ActiveDirectoryProbe - System.Exception: Authentication with Active Directory server '' failed for user 'vere_admin@domain.com'. ---> System.Runtime.InteropServices.COMException (0x80005000): Unknown error (0x80005000)
[8] ERROR ActiveDirectoryProbe - System.Exception: Authentication with Active Directory server '' failed for user 'vere_admin@domain.com'. ---> System.Runtime.InteropServices.COMException (0x80005000): Unknown error (0x80005000)
This a generic error message that points to Active Directory having an authentication issue for that user and will need to be checked out.
解决办法
The following items will help resolve this issue:
- Make sure that the Pre-Requisite Checker is used whilst logged in as an Administrator and right click on the Pre-Requisite Checker icon to select “Run as administrator”. - Also make sure that the pre-requites of .net 3.5 SP1, 4.0 and 4.5 are installed as per the Pre-Migration Planning User Guide on the following link:
- Additionally is Microsoft IIS 7 or later is being used with a web application pool running .Net 3.5 SP1 and 4.0; as must be reachable from all migration servers?
- Once all items are installed and the servers have been rebooted, try the following command:
Check that the Framework version matches the ones you have installed and adjust accordingly. Also make sure to change the 'domain\service_account' to match what is in use in your environment.
- Maybe all the migration servers couldn't communicate with a domain controller in the forest?
- Is Active Directory in good shape? Run dcdiag to make sure Active Directory is all OK:
