During QKP installation, a warning pop up "Could not create an application at the specified location. You must create it manually after you finish the setup. See documentation for details."
Manually create the QKP's virtual directory as an application from Internet Information Services (IIS) manager
1. Go to IIS manager
2. Expand Default Web Site
3. Right click the QuestKnowledgePortal virtual directory and click properties
4. Click the Create button
5. Click Apply
6. Click OK
If the QKP's virtual directory did not get created as an application, the following error will display when the QKP web site is being browse.
Server Error in '/' Application.

Parser Error Message: It is an error to use a section registered as allowDefinition='MachineToApplication' beyond application level. This error can be paused by a virtual directory not being configured as an application in IIS.
