原因
This error may be caused by a network drop between the core and the agent, by some third party software (anti-virus or firewall) on the agent or core disconnecting the network connection, or by some other potential failure in the data stream coming from the agent. -
解决办法
Resolution 1:
To resolve this issue:
- check the network to ensure it is stable.
- temporarily disable the anti-virus software to ensure it is not interfering
- temporarily disable the firewall software to ensure it is not interfering
- check the Windows system event log and application event log for errors related to VSS, volsnap, or network disconnects
- ensure the NIC drivers and firmware are up to date on both the core and agent
- Verify that no other programs are using the AppAssure data transfer port 8009. If needed, change the agent to use port 8011 instead.
Resolution 2:
AppAssure 5.4.3.106 with <a href="https://support.quest.com/appassure/kb/184130">Cumulative Update 4</a> contains enhanced logic for transfer issues such as this. Please upgrade both the core and agent to AppAssure build 5.4.3.106 and install Cumulative Update 4 and test the backup again.Resolution 3:If you are unable to upgrade the AppAssure core and agent to the latest build with cumulative update 4 or the backup still fails, then you can attempt to manipulate the transfer settings to workaround the issue. To do this go the Core console -> Configuration tab -> Transfer Settings and adjust the transfer settings for the failing agent to the following:
Maximum concurrent streams. 2
Maximum concurrent writes. 2
Maximum retries. 3
Maximum segment size. 1048576
Maximum transfer queue depth. 32
Transfer timeout. 0:30:00
Snapshot timeout. 0:20:00
