This is the release of the Linux Connector v7.5 that has been specifically built for the Wyse T50 thin client. Refer to the generic vWorkspace Connector for Linux v7.5 documents for additional information on new features.

The installations below are specific to the Wyse T50 device.
1. Untar the t50 vworkspace archive - vWorkspace_t50_090712.tgz - with the command “tar –zxvf”
2. Run the following commands –
a. Sudo cp –r t50/usr/local/bin/* /usr/local/bin
b. Sudo cp –r t50/etc/* /etc
c. Sudo cp –r t50/user/local/man/* /usr/local/man
d. Sudo cp –r t50/user/local/share/* /usr/local/share
3. To manually start usb redirector -
a. Sudo cp t50/usr/local/src/usb-redirector/files/usbsrvd /usr/local/bin
b. Sudo insmod /usr/local/bin/usbd-2_6_32_212-hedley.ko
c. Sudo /usr/local/bin/usbsrvd
*Note - There are two available t50 kernel modules. Use the module that matches the output of:Uname –a
*Note – In order for vWorkspace Multimedia Redirection to work correctly, several codecs (ffmpeg, gstreamer etc) and tools may need to be installed. The most relevant ones are called out below. It is left to the user’s discretion to install them.
Sudo apt-get install gstreamer0.10-ffmpeg
Sudo apt-get install gstreamer0.10-plugins-base
Sudo apt-get install gstreamer0.10-plugins-good
Sudo apt-get install gstreamer0.10-plugins-bad
Sudo apt-get install gstreamer0.10-plugins-ugly
Sudo apt-get install gstreamer0.10-tools
